What do you prefer?

Anywhere I can find old coins with minimal interruptions, and where there is no question that I have permission to hunt. I don't mind answering questions and being sociable; it's good for the hobby and can lead to great sites.

Been only doing this a year and the beach is the most accessible place for us to really hunt and keeps the boys busy!!!

But would like to go to an old homestead, old park, etc...as long as the snakes stay very clear of me....I don't want to hurt them :) LOL....

Mostly dug in my neighborhood, got lucky in my own yard with a few silver rosies and wheat pennies and 2 rings....

I just love doing it...like someone said, "the land has got to have history to it"....love finding something and then researching to find out who it may have belonged too!!! It's not so much the hunt, it's the history I really love!!!

Old private back yards..targets all over the place, lots of history, confined area where multiple families have gathered for years..and since the ground has been maintained for a long time you find 100-year-old targets only a few inches deep..nothing like finding lots of old stuff with very little effort.
