Beer spigot. :laughing7: I can always use less weight on the arm.

That would only get you steel pennies most coins are not attracted by a magnet. It would by nice to clear the rusty iron out though.

My all-time favorite detector is my M6. I can think of only two ways to improve this machine - add both a backlight and a volume control.

On occasion she's a red headed step child ...

Other than that no complaints ...

Oh wait ... I added a little more grip to the handle with some of the grip they use on lawn hockey sticks ...

She's grippy ~ Al

What I like the least about it is that I like it so much, that I want to hunt everyday, but can't.

I LOVE my quantum, Ive learned it well but wish it had VDI numbers. My F70 is nice, simple to learn & deep but I wish it had a trigger for the pinpoint. Been thinkin of modding it........ :dontknow:

I dont like that its not rain proof .
Yea you can put hoods and covers on them but why not make it rain proof.
Some of the CZs were and so were Troy detectors.
I bet if thy made 2 of the same units 1 RP for more money it would sell.

Come to think of it a battery check on the Excal would be nice. Ya never know how much juice is left in the 1650 MAH Mimh pak.

I wish the "tabs' on the coils were a little stronger. They break way too easy.

I wish the T2 and Omega had back lit screens.
My favorite detector is my Coin$trike and the ony thing i dont care for, is the location of the headset jack.

The only two dislikes I have about my Vaquero are no volume control and the ground balance knob can be turned too easy. I have had to retrace my foot steps due to ground balance knob being moved.

hi all
I been huntin sence 92-93 with the Whites 6000/DI PRO SL xb man is it heavy....so i would love to have it lighter....you ever tryed the hip mount that monster....to big... ya size too.So lighter and smaller.
We have many Detectors here newer and lighter and smaller....but its still hard for any off the newer models to run with the 6000/DI PRO xb
thanks Gary G.A.P.metal

Love my Cibola. Would be more happy if it had a true all-metal setting and loose the pinpointing button. I get deep into recovering an iffy signal and find that the signal is gone occasionally. Then I have to repeatedly press and hold that dam all-metal / pinpoint button as I bring handfulls of soil by the coil. I finally bought a hand held pinpointer but still this irritates me. hh blue

every machine ever made should have had. either a push

in and turn or hard to click button for power.

either that or a snap cover to fit over the power button.

anything that would prevent the unit from accidently

bumped into the on position. with the result that

it accidently got bumped on and when u go to use

it the batteries have bled dead.

maybe the battery companies were in cahoots

w the makers.

all i know is us detectorists have been gouged

this way for years to the tune of millions of $.

Omega 8000,

Add anti glare plastics over the screen, maybe out of a tougher type of plastic, it does scratch easily. Pretty small complaints really.

Vaquero needs improved Iron reject, or a Vaquero with multi tones.

I don't like it when I have to swing it back and forth. LOL
