And No, it is not a melted spoon..lol

The first is an aluminum canned capacitor, vibrator or bi-metal switch....a better picture of the"working end" might tell.
The second is unknown. How about more information as dimensions, weight ? We want to help you and you want the help.

Second item looks like the typical melted aluminum or lead that ring up really good but are basically just blobs of metal from a fire.

First item looks like old aluminum food container, but not sure what button like thing at top is? Maybe close up of this anomaly and place a coin by it for reference.

Good news is you are digging in an old area, keep at it the good stuff is not far off.

Hi All, Thank You. Here's a couple more shots..to note there wasn't even electricity in this area until 2002 and is mostly uninhabited since the Native Americans.
This piece weighs 49.2 G

Neither piece respond to a magnet. Scratch test on blob (ha) with muriatic acid left metal shavings intact.

Still sticking with an old radio vibrator, was used to boost (voltage?)in old car and some farm radios from battery.
Folks will shoot up the strangest things.
The other thing might be the remainder of an old , burnt automobile shifter handle ....seen 'em like this.
Thanks !

You may have to use a nitric acid test on the 2nd item.
