I found these on the hill where I find the Indian beads. They measure 3/4 inch long. And they appear to be broken off on the one end. IMG_0766.JPG

No they are not hollow. And they are way, way, way too small for a boar tooth. The red items are 3/4 of an inch long. The small shiney seed items are compared to a toothpick in the second picture. Renee`

Here are some of the other things I have found in the same spot. I know the picture is blurry, sorry.

Hello Sheperdess, I can see that the broken ends would not match up but what if the 'middle' was the broken/ missing part? Does it look like the two pieces could have been 1 piece with the missing piece making it a whole something? Maybe some kind of weapon or spear?

If it isn't mineral/ metal, then the other options are animal or vegetable or plastic(ugh). I just can't believe it would be animal with 'ridge line' running down the length and being pointed- not like any bones I've seen and I hunt for food- in season. (goberment rules-you know)!!! BS

Maybe the State Archy could tell me what it is made of. He is at the present looking at the iny braided article in the last picture. I think it is wool, but I am not sure. Very odd for it to survive the elements for so many years.

I really don't think they could possible be seed pods. But you guys got me to thinking they could possibly be a hard rubber? They are awesome little things, whatever they are a part of.
