I found these bottle dump digging, does anyone know what they are?

If the dump was from the 50's it pretty much rules out opium bottles, so how about something like this, saccharin tablets. They still used to sell these when I worked at the drug store in the 70's although there wasn't much call for them. Wikipedia seems to indicate they were used by diabetics.
