Today was the best day i have ever had metal detecting! Two days ago i went to an old soccer field and found a bunch of clad and a Sacajawea dollar. I thought i would head back out there this morning and see what else i could unearth with my whites coinmaster gt. i headed out at sunup and on my first solid reading i unearthed a 64 d rosie 3 inches down. I thought to myself, well got that out of the way already getting silver! I was digging a bunch on light sounds and got a 20 d merc. 43 d merc. and a 35 merc. All hits were 6 to 8 inches down with a very jumpy vdi. I new they were all small so they were all dug. Also unearthed was a 45 p war nickel and 11 Wheaties. Found 4 tokens also which i was surprised to see. Walking back to my vehicle after having a great day and back sore I got a slamming signal. I dug 5 inches down and located a old firefly ring. I rechecked the hole and was getting another signal 2 more inches down. Bam 1904 Indian Head penny. Not to mention i found the brother and Sacajawea dollars to one one i located a couple days ago. It will probably be years before i have another hunt like this one. Keep digging hard all!

nice finds i use the at pro and detect about 10-15 hour a week and still the silver coin eludes me i must be too selective because any jumpy hit i often just pass over that why i asked what type of machine your was.HH

I used my coinmaster alot and it works the best in all metal mode. It reacts to slow when u discriminate. I check and recheck every little bleep. Most of my silver will read around the pull tab vdi numbers. Most things deep the vdi numbers most often than not will never read correct. Yes even on the high end machines. I just rock my coil on the sound and rock it back and forth. This is how i pinpoint. Works best for this machine. U normally can tell when sweeping over a blurp how large the item is. The small ones u want to dig. Always! I dug probably 100 pull tabs today. Its not alway just coins! Dig, dig, and dig some more! Never hurts to take a look whats under that coil. I have found around 50 silver coins for the year and maybe only 10 where matches on the screen. The size and sounds is all i look for.

Congrats and it was a good day for you.Iam still looking for one of those days.Enjoy your hunting.

Wondering how many hours spent to dig up those fantastic finds! You did well!

Nice finds! con Grats.I see you found some Canadian coin, not sure where you live but here in Maine its our second currency. I find them all the time.

Man, I wish I had your luck when I went out hunting. I seem to not get more than or two readings a trip, but I'm not going to complain about that! Congrats on the cool finds, hope you have more luck next time.

I was out for 6 hours for this hunt. I live in Minnesota so yes the Canadian change shows up every now and then.

Sounds and looks like you had a superb day!
