How do you know that the Captain Thomas Beale of Beale's Rifles that fought in the Battle of New Orleans is the "Thomas J Beale" character of the 1885 Beale Papers dime novel job pamphlet?
You don't.
...and Ward's grandfather, James Beverly Risqué , had closer contact with Andrew Jackson, of which you are aware.

Robert Morriss had contact with Jackson too . Captain Thomas Beale of New Orleans had contact with Jackson and possibly we have found are link from Captain Thomas Beale to Morriss .

...and of course you have documentation outside of the Beale Papers that Robert Morriss had contact with Andrew Jackson.

The Beale/Jackson connection Jean speaks of is that same old Beale/Jackson connection that's been argued/debated over and over again.

Same as it ever was.

Yes, and this only brings us back to Mr. Beale/Beall/Beal/Bissell, ect., ect., still not a single one of "HIM" ever being directly connected to the tale in any why thus far.

ADDITIONAL info was available as PAPERS, for the Beale PAPERS Pamphlet, released in 1885...
