Went to the fort and scored two beautiful pieces of history

Possum and I went to the fort in New Orleans and hunted for 3 hours. There are so much iron but luckily I love iron you never know if it’s gonna be another tomahawk, pad locks or cannonballs in the shell mound. With that being said I got a three ringer and a U.S. 2nd Regiment of Artillery button. I got two script I’s and now one script A. I’m starting to concentrate on buttons out there because I never used to get any so obviously I’m getting better. I appreciate y’all looking and there’s more to come thank you

Hey Davers I miss talking to buddy I’m gonna be metal detecting a little more soon. Possum is learning his day is with that elliptical coil and he’s getting frustrated since that’s not a machine that you turn on a metal detector but like I told him when you learn it he’ll be doing real good. He’s a little aggravated right now but he did get a war nickel. Merry Christmas Davers to you and yours

Erik I appreciate that brother i’m trying my best to hit as many bucket list as possible and I’ve had a lot this year I’ve been truly blessed. This fort has archaeologists from LSU go through this whole fort not to mention metal detection has been going on in the 70s 80s 90s and pretty much everybody I guess thought that was everything all it takes is a little more willpower strength and the baddest shovel made on the planet that’ll break through the bricks that I got to get through to see what that signal is sometimes I’ll when sometimes I lose but the only thing I remember is when I win. This year I’ve been real lucky and it seems like the harder I work the luckier I get.
