Possum and I had a good day hanging out and did manage to find 2 Buffalos, 6 wheats and a mystery token. The token appears to have the initials โ€œJ Rโ€ stamped on one side and I see a black letter 2 on the other. Any guess on what kind of token it might be is appreciated. Truth--there are indeed some "J. R." maverick tokens attributed to Mandeville, LA, but they are not like yours, so without some more and better information I wouldn't say yours is related to them. Might be, but...

I saw this one on EBay just like mine but it was hexagon.

It was found about 20 miles north of Mandeville La.

My J.R. Is smaller and off center, but the 2 1/2 is on the money.

Just wanted to say Hi and congrats on the token. I live in Laplace and would love to join ya"ll. I have a Nox 800 and just got a sand scoop... itching to use it.
