Metal Detecting
So I went out digging on Sunday with the fellas and we started at an old farm and after a couple of hours we had found a few coins and a 1942 quarter and I found the 1942 merc. We left there and went to an old middle school and were pulling clad and then I hit the solid silver heart and made my way around the field and hit the silver heart locket. Was checking to see if the chain was there with it and got a dime reading and dug down about 5 inches next to where the locket was and found the bottom of a bottle. Pulled the bottle out and realized it was a whole Dr.Pepper bottle. I have to say that is my first bottle found metal detecting. Not sure of the year but knew it had some years on it. Thanks for looking and good luck all. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519249160.802179.webp

Nice silver finds, congrats. I like the little lockets, and you got two of them, that’s a score.

WaterScoop, I had thought the same thing. My eyes popped out when I saw it was whole. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Carolina Tom. I was surprised that both charms were hearts. Pretty cool. Good luck and happy hunting.

Looks 1970's. Before that they had the numbers on the front like the one in the pic with Forrest Gump.

That was an excellent hunt.
Three silvers and a magic potion bottle.

Glad I was able to zoom in. Beautiful silver!

My favorite soft drink. Awesome find!
