Just got back from A California trip on Wednesday and just had to get a hunt in. Went back to the old Cranston place and pounded it some more. I have hunted it 2 times already and once with Terry Everly (teverly) of treasure net with his E-trac. This place is huge and we have not covered it well in some of the better areas. I concentrated away from the house in places I know have not been hunted yet. To make it even better they just cut the yard the day before and it rained last night.

I found a 3 silver pocket spill with a Wheatie and a 1947 nickle. I was tickled and I have dug pocket spills in the past. They are fun, especially when you get some old coins as well as silver. Found a 1915 Buffalo, some kind of belt buckle, a suspender buckle (I Think), one of those Ohio seals which has been painted. This is the second one I found. Not sure what they are for????? Found 3 more 1880's IH's. This brings my total to 9 at this place. 1880,1889, 1890. Found a total of 2 Wheat's and some modern clad as well. Also found a Briggs and St ratton key. Any help on the buckle with Wilkes on it would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron
