I took the XP Deus for clean up where I found the two SLQ's. I found three Mercs, 1940, 1935 and a 1941. A War Nickel 1945 S mint, eleven wheats, a sterling ring and a brass ring that has a Mountain scene on it? Not sure what that one is? Nice hunting with the Deus, I wish they would come up with a better way of waterproofing it than that bag. I added a no date Buffalo from the last hunt Wed, that was all I found that day at a different spot, same lake.
Enjoy the pix

some nice results from the water once again. For some reason I thought this detector was watertight to a certain degree?

Thanks, headed back there in awhile.

Water proof and water resistant are two different things. The XP Deus, you have to buy a waterproof kit to make it waterproof, then hope the bag never leaks!

Thanks Joe, I'm going back there again today with the Deus again, I have to hit the other spot where I found stuff, see what I come up with?

Thanks for the reply, a bag for a water tight use is kind of scary.

ok thats better treble...you were scaring me with this one two silver crap....lol 5 silver day is a good day...boy ive got a lake near me that i know is loaded with silver i just havent hit it yet because its mostly private. but as long as my feet are in the water its legal!!

Might want to check how that law works. I fly fish for trout and here you are legally permitted to fish private property IF you are floating a moving body of water. The key is you are not touching bottom. If you are standing on the bottom you're trespassing. And this is a stream not a lake. I would imagine the regulations would be different on a lake.

Wow that one merc looks like it was dropped yesterday. Nice finds
