I got a fairly clear, deep 'nickel' signal and made a fairly large plug...with the 1911 V Nickel was this little guy. IMG_20170609_224821.jpgIMG_20170609_224836.jpg

Your very own little Venus de Milo! [emoji38]

I enjoy the non metal finds while digging a target - surprise!

I think that's what was called a cupie doll, game prizes at fairs.

I searched up cupie doll (kewpie) and looks a bit different... maybe the little figurines looked a bit different.

Half the fun is searching for historic places to detect and investigating your finds !
She's cute,way cool !

Way cute old dolly. I remember recovering one nearly identical to yours early on in my hunting. I truly enjoy the added "surprises" of non metallic stuff that we run across while digging trash.:hello2:

Love digging non metal surprises. Yours is a cutie pie.

Just cool, Congrats !!

That is a neat little find. I cant believe you posted that, as I just found the exact same one yesterday in a field I was hunting. The only difference, is mine was missing its head. I also found just the arm and hand of another larger type porcelain doll.
