We will never have a well informed public as long as a majority get their only news and current events from the main stream media. Their agenda is to give the spin of those in power, with the financial means to pay their bloated salarys, and control the FCC.
That aid we also need to stop preaching to the choir, we are already agreeable with the way this downward spiral is effecting the country. We need to have more outreach to the citizenry, and try to calmly get the other side of the story out there. Every time that discussions lapse into name-calling and argument, both sides are diminished. I have found in many cases that I have had to deal with, the public, in general will listen and make educated dicisions on their own. Those that won't or can't will never change their mind.

Jesreyben, don't you understand that freedom only applies to the things and ideals you believe in. After all, the live and let live concept is beyond some peoples grasp. Funny how some cry foul if they believe their freedom is trampled, but yet will be the first in line to quash others peoples rights
