Well if I'm Only Allowed Two Good Finds Today!

Hit the river again today,slow day find wise but fun to do.Anyway some of you asked to see what the sites I hunt look like so I took the camara with me today.Some of the sites are very limited to what they give as clues others not so much. But a eye for the types of things helps alot,may only be one piece of brick,pottery,ceramic, etc.But knowing how old it is,is what gets me started on a place.Not alot of finds today and not the best day for it as the wind and tide were not that great for it.I did find some more old musket shot and balls but figured with all the other pics no need to post them.Anyway Enjoy! :thumbsup:

Yoooo, Pete, it is good to see you posting what you do best. That cut silver has this Pennsylvania man at an ultimate high. Yup, you got me going, Pete. The KKC team is digging on Sunday. I got my passion tucked in my pocket and the time will come when I put my hand in and yank it out with force.

If PA had beaches like that, I would be on them in my flip-flops and popping coppers. :laughing7:

Thanks Buddy! I just got done unloading everything out the truck.Yea the buckle seems to be circa 1500-1650 :thumbsup: Another early one. :headbang: Hope you guy's do get out this weekend it's been awhile since I've seen one of you post.I know you will be hungry for the goods. :D

We are getting out this weekend to a new site! Chris and I are going on a "Permission Mission" tomorrow afternoon. We'll knock on 10 doors if we have to in order to get permission for a new Colonial/early American site!! :headbang: :headbang:

Pete, once again you've proved your monicker, your posts more than any other on this forum consistantly manage to take one back in time! This was one fantastic day, in my book as good as it gets, where you can approach a site by water, be embraced by a remote location which has probably changed very little, and at the same time not have someone breathing down your neck!! A jewel in your crown of memories for sure! The coin is wonderful, but so is the splayed foot buckle which at least dates from the 1600's, if not possibly the late 1500's. Again, thanks for sharing this with us!
