Well I should finally get my 8x6 SEF Butterfly coil in time for this weekend.

I ordered it 2 months ago but it was out of stock, then my order was filled last month and was sent out to me but the UPS guy never came (even though I was home all day). Well it was sent back to Kelly Co. last month and I called them and told them what happened and they said they would send it right on back out. Well I waited and waited so I finally called them up and was told that they are out of stock again!!! I said "you sold my coil even though it was in a box with my name on it?" They had me call back yesterday and they were able to find it in their warehouse and I was told that it should be in my hands in a few days. This time I am having it sent to my day job where there is always somebody here to accept it!!!

Wish me luck, I really want that coil, its supposed to be a killer in super trash locations!!!

UPS, that's the only reason you don't already have it. What can Brown do to you?

Lil' Lowbatts got off the couch last time UPS did ding-dong-ditch on us, the gal was already on the way bck to the truck, less than ten seconds. If you aren't out tracking it and waiting out front, no guarantee of delivery.

When you do get it, come back out this way, you know we gots the oldies in easy digging environments, just gotta get through the trash.

I'll put this out there for general knowledge:

When Kellyco was backordered on the Pro coil, I was number 50 on the list and they though they might get 26 in in a couple of weeks, I checked around for other places to order it from and called these folks:

They had the coil in stock at the same price and shipped it out the same day. It's a family run business and they are real nice people. I dealt with Michael, and he related that the Pres. of Minelab USA was sitting next to him on a site visit when I called. A pic of their store and of the people themselves is on the "Contact Us" page.

I know a lot of people feel strongly about their preferred vendors, and I've bought plenty from Kellyco, but if you run into an out of stock problem, check around. I'd buy from these folks again in a heartbeat.

Yeah, when you first told me about your issues you were having with Kellyco, I couldn't believe how long it was taking for you to get the coil. Partly, I'd blame UPS, because I have issues with them nearly every week. However, for Kellyco to claim to "lose" your coil, and then, oops! there it is in the ol' warehouse...I don't know, sounds like laziness and carelessness to me. I doubt I'd ever order anything from Kellyco, I'm not so sure I can't get stuff for the same price or even cheaper elsewhere. But anyway, good luck and hopefully you will finally receive the coil soon so we can hit some more areas!
