Welcome to the site! Please post an introduction thread.

Hello from NC-Mid Atlantic, I’ve only posted here a couple of times but will be doing much more. I view this forum quite often just for looks, info and tricks. Very Appreciated! Pretty much a newbie at detecting but I go where no sane folks usually choose to look at while driving, lol.
For kshroom...here is the latest pretty rock I found recently, about a week or so ago. Shoulder deep in an old Grist Mill Creek...welded Quartz and Weathered Rock!

HELLO from Washington State (The Great Pacific North West!)

I am just starting out, although I actually bought a few detectors 3 years ago to detect with my kid but he was 16 and not having it! lol!
So I sold the detectors (made a profit :icon_thumleft:) and decided not to buy any more until I was ready to give it some time. Well … I just picked up
a few old and new for my enjoyment .. so it's time to detect!

Glad to part of Treasure.net

Welcome Aboard and thank you for your service! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...

I'm WmtheConquerer living in Stuart Va, having lived in Danville, hoping to uncover the treasury in Danville! That's
when I started reading this forum! I love reading all the threads, they are so interesting! I like mostly all of the sites,
including KGC, OAK Island, and rocks! I found some awesome Indian rocks, as well as mason rocks, including a
fire brick marked Egypt found at the confederate treasure
site!

Hello, New user here. I am 25 and from Central Illinois (live in Springfield but from the Champaign-Urbana Area originally). I am looking to connect with some people in central Illinois. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and treasure hunting. I want to focus specifically on fossils, native american relics, and meteorites but there are many natural and man-made curiosities to be found! I also collect bugs, skulls, sheds, and much more!

I love seeing what you guys have found and learning from the many years of experience on this site, figured I would create an account and will hopefully have some new finds in 2020 to share with you all!

living in Pineville, Louisiana. Buying the detector (simplex, knee pads, shovel, digger and shovel was easy. Getting permission is a whole new let down. Been turned down by crop growers, even though crops not planted at the time. 2 deer leases denied, I'm not a member of either. Have been asked to leave vacant lots in the city. Guess I will have to try the kiddy parks.

Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Enjoying this site and looking forward to more exploring.
