Traveller777, Welcome to Treasurenet from Georgia. Glad to have you with us. I see that you use the Minelab GPX 4500. What is your take on this detector? Most relic hunters swear by them.
 

Hi all. I'm brent3161 from Newfoundland , Canada. Many thanks for adding me to your TreasureNet community. Many interesting finds to be had in our neck of the woods. . We live on an island of 25000 sq miles, have a population of about 150000 people, is the oldest colony in North America and only a handful of us metal detecting. Hello. I am VERY new to metal detecting, but it has been an interest of mine for a long time, so.... I bought a Garrett Ace 250 the other day. I am hoping it will be something fun for me and something my kids & I can enjoy together as they get older. I am a true fan of history and would love to find a relic someday. I am located in southern Vermont and look forward to seeing all your interesting finds. I have already learned a lot on Tnet and look forward to learning more. Thanks for sharing.
I you need help with your Garrett Ace 250 theirs a lot of good information on U Tube about the 250 and many others.

Hello, Am very new to this chat and thread stuff; I am interested in all the findings of metal detecting, Indian Artifacts as well as use to cave splunk; getting a little to old for that... im Dave, in north Idaho, I have a dredge AND a permit for this year, my buddy "partner" who got me all fired up to spend
the Money and time to get my end of the deal together ( dredge+permit) has Flaked out.
im in a Very good situation to hunker down and dredge, no wife honey do list (no wife_) no kid/school events (no kids) im Very comfortable staying in tha woods for 7-10 days at a wack, BUT
WHAT I DONT HAVE is a place to go or way to get there, 5099937812 just ring me and lets make a deal,
