Weird whatsit??

Hello Tnet found this item on a field here in the Netherlands.
Because of the green patina i suspect its old but what could it be ??

Its almost 2cm wide.
And it looks like the back of it had something iron on it

Any help is appreciated !!

Looks like a copper shawl clip.

in the right environment copper can patina like that fairly quickly. I doesn't look hand made and the horseshoe design looks fairly modern.

Not sure on function, but the style of the horseshoe depicted makes me think its not much more than 200 years old.
