Hey Guys and Gals, this one has me stumped. little bigger than a quarter, smaller than a half, and seems to be made out of brass or bronze. The center piece is composed of three different color metals, (gold, silver, brass?) with the church scene one color, the boat another, etc. Center is about the size of a half dime. Center seems to have been soldered(?) on, tightly. Any help would be appreciated.
Carl

"X" marks the spot! Now you just have to find the spot.............

It is odd, that's for sure. It could possibly be some type of lid. The farm scene looks to be composed of copper with a brass overlay in the center. I'm pretty sure it isn't gold.

Looks like a Chinese scene to me - I see a pagoda, Chinese bridge and two coolies with their backs bent under their loads. Or maybe its just me.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this topic. It's about 1/4" deep, and the church scene appears to be 3 types of gold, (white, yellow, Black Hills?), on a very thin platchet that was somehow adhered to the base. The pin(?) itself almost looks like it is some form of sandcasted brass or bronze. or else has been corroded from being in the ground for so long. The cuts in the sides are strange, they match up with opposite sides evenly, and are man/machine made. Plan to have the face tested for gold this week. Someone just wisely suggested that it might be an old "arts and craft" piece. Makes sense. Thanks again for looking. Carl
