I found this object in a field in Luxembourg (A small country that borders France, Germany and Belgium.)
I have found items dating back to the 1600s at the site but most of my finds are from around 1800-1920.
There is a lot of writing on the pin but most is illegible except for a few letters here and there.
Was hoping to get any info on what it represents and possibly a date range.

Thank You

It looks like most is legible when you enlarge the image to the max.

Has something to do with a gymnastic event in Luxembourg.
Don.......

Either that, or its a badge for scholarly overachievement or something. Gymnasium is the highest form of school in Germany, I could imagine that this word was used in Luxembourg, too. (Luxembourg being a weird but lovely cross-over of German and French culture). Normally the french would use Lycee for this type of school.

I mean to read a faint "international" after concourse, if so its really gymanstics, since international school rating were not really a thing in 1909.

X ? ? FETE Federale
? ? ? Tournoi
Concours International
de Gymnastique

I think it is a participation pin for a gymnastics event.

Perhaps something similar to this event:
