Week's Worth of Stuff.....Lot's of Pic's
Finally got to download my find's for the week, the computer I was left with had almost no way to post the pic's I have. The "lime kiln" hunt last Sat. was pretty cool, took Ty and myself 2 trip's into the wood's to find it.When we got there it looked Great only to find out it was littered with trash, everywhere.I pulled a few relic's from there but nothing to write home about....After that I pretty much concentrated on the field's at Sharpsburg(Antietam).I really shouldn't say field's because most of the find's were from the place's no one else wanted to get into...no problem,I got plenty of Band-Aid's ,Also picked up a couple more field's closer to the Battlefield that I didn't know the farmer owned. Two of the better corn field's will be cut down in a month for silage, and plowed soon after, can't wait.I know there's alot of pic's,I apologize, but enjoy.....I had a blast!!!!
Here's a pic of the old lime kiln.....
Piece of an old car.....
An old knife with some of the wood handle still intact....
Don't know if it's a cane top or an umbrella piece....pretty cool though..
An iron "JACK" found at the 1700's house...
Some button's found at both place's.....
An old spoon found with some of my CW lead at Sharpsburg....
And probably only a 1/4 of the junk I dug for the week....
Thank's Burdie.....
More pic's to follow.......
