Wednesday's finds... Art Deco lamp! Carnival glass, Charles Schneider art glass!

This past Wednesday I purchased these items.

First off is a signed Charles Schneider France art glass vase circa 1919 to 1925 mounted to a wrought iron base with glass berries on it. The book value on Charles Schneider pieces is simply ridiculous. The only piece of his that has the same wrought iron base that is on eBay is a compote & they want $2400 for it. This one had a dealer tag on it with a price of $1900. I got it for $90 + 10% so $99.00.

This is the only piece with a similar base on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Charles-Schneider-Glass-Wrought-Iron-Footed-Compote-Orange-/371166503722?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item566b3f632a

2nd is this art deco lamp with a green uranium glass slip shade, I really like this lamp! I also paid $90 +10% so again $99.00 but this I bought to keep not to resell!

Last are these 3 carnival glass vases. 1 Fenton April Showers, 1 Northwood Tree trunk & 1 Northwood diamond point.

Knocking it out of the ballpark gadget! I'd have to hold on to that lamp myself. Sweet! :icon_thumright: I went digging through Bunny Yeager's garage today myself, lol. Only managed 1 piece of glass though, a Fostoria opalescent heirloom handkerchief bowl. Nothing special for sure.

Oh Digg Id love to have that Handkerchief vase (if only it were Topaz opalescent)! The plain opalescent & blue opalescent don't sell very well. It's quality glass regardless of value & popularity.

Nice finds I really like the Northwood Tree trunk.

Cheers - Koffee
