This seems more like a commercial pay to play type of organization.
Not as an association of miners organized in the "traditional" sense
of what a mining district used to be.

Just MY opinion!

Yes,they do operate at a prospecting club to help maintain their claims,
but they do maintain an office where you can go or call to get any needed
infomation on the area,BLM regs.,do's & don't of prospecting the area, &
they also have a good rapore with the Phoenix BLM office to get more
info. if needed. But,your correct-mining districts aren't what they use to be!

Weaver has some of the best claims in the Rich Hill area, period. I used to play cards with Les Bender, who ran Weaver until last year when he passed away. It is a good club, with good claims! Terry Soloman, COO - Arizona Gold Adventures Inc

Is it still $25 a yr for a family membership? They did have and probably still do more gold than on the Stanton claim just not all the facillities.

No more $25.00 memberships anywhere I'm afraid! They had
to increase their year membership fee to $50.00 a year. Things
don't get any cheaper as I get older, but no complaits from me!!!
They have add a few more good claims to their holdings though.
And heard all their claims are marked better now that a new
chairman took over the daily operation.

Has anyone heard anything about what is happening at the Weaver Mining District this Summer and Fall. I have not been able to get anyone when I called nor have anyone to return my calls when I asked them to. Would like any help that is available on the Club and it's activities.

Thank you Teacherb
