I have put some use on this thing. It has eeked out thousands and thousands of targets but I have worn a couple holes in it. I hunt in extremely rocky terrain. It's acting all funny now.

When I get a new one, what's the best sleeve or cover for it? Any ideas would be welcome thanks.

Thanks

That gave me an idea for my current carrot.

I have this giant heat shrink tube that's lined with heat glue meant for large wires like 2/0 and 3/0 gauge. I just used to it make a perfect cover for this one till I can get a new one.

Just FYI, you can also spray it with a couple coats of plasti-dip.

LEARN how to PROPERLY PINPOINT First
Sweep it like a coil then when the loudest and solid signal happens. SLOWLY draw it back to you till it quits .then 1 inch from the tip is the target The detecting area of them is from the rubber button to the tip all along that surface

I have had this pinpointer for for 7 years, I dig 150 targets when I hunt, I hunt in extremely trashy areas with NO SOIL, 100% rock, I know how to properly pinpoint.
