Myself and my hunting buds Richie and Max took advantage of a break in the weather and hit a couple old places and one new site with decent results...a LOT of nice stuff..1917, '18, '30 and '45 Mercs, 1914 Barber dime, '50 and '51 Rosies, 1898 Indian, 1852 Large cent, Sterling thimble, 1943 Walker half (Max's FIRST silver with his new ATP!), snake.. (ugh)..8 pointed star button, flat button, buckle, a brass Whatsit, a round brass Whatsit, and a token from ED. HETTINGER for 6 bottles for 20 cents (bottles of what)...we found TWO of these tokens by the way, 15 feet apart...a handful of wheaties and a neat presidential Teddy Roosevelt token or commemorative coin which lists his accomplishments, if you look closely you can see the "walk softly and carry a big stick" along the bottom and approx 15 lbs of trash. Thanks very much for looking, hope u enjoyed the pics...any help on the 2 brass Whatsits would be very much appreciated. The round one is brass, heavy patina and very heavy...quarter is for size.
