Went to my new bank today to setup my account since the poor service of US Bank. I asked about coins, and they have a free coin counter and specifically asked if I were to bring in $200 in coins, 3 times a week if there would be a problem and they said no. I asked about buying, and they said a guy buys 4 boxes of halves a week. So I have a question, and please keep from trolling because it's childish if your going to. Should I be nice and use them as my pickup bank, and find another dump bank since US Bank shut me down, or should I just dump in there? I know it's hard to get your coins back, but I think I know who the guy is, and he's nice and gave me lots of tips... Advice? No trolling -.-

Too bad TreasureNet dosen't have the ignore button anymore for members.

At the risk of ending up on your list :tongue3: if you click "settings" up on the top right of the page by your name, you will get the settings page. On the left , under "my account" should be "edit ignore list". Click that, and you can enter a name to ignore. Haven't done it, so I can't testify to it's effectiveness....

Good luck at your new bank...!

for me, pickup banks are easier to find than dump banks... use it as a dump bank!

I get rolls of quarters all the time for the laundromat from a bank in a supermarket and pay only face value. I would not pay over face value for coins, and have not found any silver.

Click on the name of the offending party, then "View Profile". On the profile page, click "Add to Ignore List."

A little extra effort, but well worth it!

I'll make it even easier for you.
Just click the name.
Now you can IGNORE me completely.
You're welcome.

The person who is getting 4 boxes a week is not paying $4.50 per box or does not exist. Either way, they are lying to you.

Really, it's not necessary to say that.

If I were you I'd give it a try at buying small and dumping there. It can't hurt, I know a guy that does both at the same bank and he does pretty well on halves.
Good luck

You never dump where you eat and eat where you dump........:dontknow:

I will probably be sticking my feet into these waters when I get my first box of halves. I am thinking about going back to a bank I saw next to a dollar store. I went in there and asked them real quick if they would take a couple of rolled coins I had. They said no but i think I am going to ask how much they require for a savings account so I can order boxes and how much they would charge for boxes if anything.

Wish me luck.

Hugs and Smiles,
Garoulady
