Went to my new bank today to setup my account since the poor service of US Bank. I asked about coins, and they have a free coin counter and specifically asked if I were to bring in $200 in coins, 3 times a week if there would be a problem and they said no. I asked about buying, and they said a guy buys 4 boxes of halves a week. So I have a question, and please keep from trolling because it's childish if your going to. Should I be nice and use them as my pickup bank, and find another dump bank since US Bank shut me down, or should I just dump in there? I know it's hard to get your coins back, but I think I know who the guy is, and he's nice and gave me lots of tips... Advice? No trolling -.-

You should immediately file a complaint against him and the bank.

Really, it's not necessary to say that.

If I were you I'd give it a try at buying small and dumping there. It can't hurt, I know a guy that does both at the same bank and he does pretty well on halves.
Good luck

Too bad TreasureNet dosen't have the ignore button anymore for members.

Use it as a bank as you normally would, that's what I'd do. :D

Yeah I know. I will use it as my main bank for all my transactions, just trying to debate on how I should use them for my coinage.

I don't share my bank with anyone so not sure how this works, but I would think if they order boxes for the other man, they'll order some for you? Try not to steal his boxes though since he gave you advice :)
Hope all Works out well!

Whoops forgot to mention they charge 4.50 per box. They said if I got a box a week no big deal but ill stick with my silver producing and wheats/buffalos producing bank.

Yea um no....you just found a new dump bank..

Figured that.. i've bought MWR and CWR from them, the MWR are solid new.. and the CWR aren't too good. But the teller there use to work at my US bank, she said she will save any "old coins" of "big coins" that anyone but that guy brings in (if he dumps there)

Using them as a dump bank ESPECIALLY since they have a coin counter is much more valuable to you then a buy bank,if they charge $4.50 per BOX i would see if you could buy Customer wrapped rolls.

I would use them as a pick up bank and look for a another bank to dump. Never break this rule. This time around. Say please and thank every time no matter what. Buy cookies for the all that stuff.

Oops didn't see the fee part..... DUMP BANK ! Lol

I can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with Kevin. Pay for boxes=no. free coin counter=yes.

Dump Bank it is.

I would be a little curious. If the other guy is buying 4 boxes a week despite the $4.50 fee, what is he finding that is worth continuing to pay that fee? I would buy 1 box just to test the waters. If it doesn't produce, turn it into a dump bank.

It could just be someone who is buying 30-40 boxes a week and is spreading it out over many banks. If that is the case, you may have a hard time finding a dump bankif you don't want to dump where he is buying. I still think you should use it as a dump bank.

Take 'em 10k worth of dumps 1 time. See if there are any gripes/moans.

Then tell 'em you want them to order you boxes that are guaranteed to be loaded with Ag.,
otherwise, you will be making similar "deposits".

That might be the case. If I was ordering from multiple banks though, i would discontinue my orders at a bank that was cutting into my CRHing funds with an $18 a week fee unless my finds were more then making up for those fees. I've already been there with a Wells Fargo that was charging me $7.50 per box. It was ok when the boxes were producing. Then i started seeing skunk after skunk. After a short time, i cancelled the order and moved on to other banks.
