This was it! It came out so dark I wasn't sure what it was at first.

1917! Missed it.........by that much!

Don't get me wrong, I've got lots of ground to cover yet, just wasn't that
big hunt today. This place has potential!

I really didn't recognize it at first. Had to really look hard! I figure it was one that was just in circulation a long, long time and dropped much more recently. Strange how dark it is though.

Only a guess, But I think Traffic causes that.
I think it was lost in a spot ,where it was Run over by Bikes, Cars , Feet for awhile.

Water can cause Black Tarnish also, But the Wear makes be think Traffic.
Normally when I see silver in that condition it is in Very Hard ground.

It fits, my research showed either a road or a farm path in the field. Plenty rocky too.

I said the same thing when the round ball, (it is lead), came out. Seemed funny though, somehow.

And I'm sorry, I didn't see your question about Fishy's toy until now. It's either a silver colored
.22 shell or the Lone Ranger started out with a .22.

It's ok. I have issues with the e-net anyhow. My phone pics are not as clear, & I think I need glasses upgrade...I'm now having to use a magnifing glass "while I am wearing my reading glasses...it sucks getting old!
