Dug this at an 1876 Dutch Reformed Church Parsonage. Can anyone find any like it in old catalog?
2008 New Mexico s quarter for scale. I got that in change today. Did big doubletake. Thanks for your help.
 

My guess would be a Gas Valve of some kind opposed to a water spigot. Probably Victorian or so due to the elaborate design work on it. Neat find!!!

I never would have thought gas, but the Chinese were apparently piping it through bamboo chutes as early as 500bc.

Old gas lamp piece??? Boy I think they made things better back then from furniture to cars pottery to this thing you found. Thanks for posting it!!!!!

I got one right wooo hooo. I play jeopardy with My wife and two daughters. Either they are really smart or I'm really dumb. I think its both but this is how it feels when I finally get one lol I need to start taping those shows lol
