Water heater question

Ny the way if your pump has a smaler out put just use that size coupler and pipe ! The other piece should still be 3/4 " pipe ..
The reason this works better for flow and pressure is the angle is more inline with the direction the water if flowing from the pump...
The 90deg fitting often found on the pump housing has poor performance because of the 90 deg angle the the water flow ...

Awesome! Never seen that be4, very neat.

Btw, I so didn't mean to start a pissing contest. Play nice fellas every1 only giving opinion and trying to help and I do appreciate it. It may be false security but I feel a little better with a purchased unit.
Also propane tanks not a big deal for me personally because I dredge close to the truck and propane cheap for me.
I do see the disadvantages you spoke of though Omni.

After watching some reviews on the zodi I think I would pass on it .. Some folks have to circulate the water to get it hot enough to shower. They say a single pass just makes it warm not very hot .. So they put it in a 5 gallon bucket and recirculate till it's hot ..
That's not a good sign...

no doubt . Carry and paying the added cost of propane is a disadvantage .. But the comfort to me know I can put anybody on the heater including my son and not have to worry is worth it..
Omni and I are fine! at least I think so... We all have our opinions and we are all right and wrong at times ... And some time what's good for one is not for another ... There Probally a lot more exhaust heaters out there than. Propane by a long shot..
And I'm sure some of them work great .... If I had one that worked well I may have not changed over but getting burnt once was enough to change me over .. They also make diesel heaters not sure about gas ...

you can think Hoosier for that ! It was his invention I believe! Not mine i just copied it ..
Once you dredge with a blaster you'll never go back without it ! Cleaning the cracks and also washing down bed rock when your done in a area helps. But the best thing I find is breaking up gravely clay .. As it's usally where I find the best gold

Naa it's ok, I'm just trying to get G riled up. I may end up going with the Triton heater. I have all the room in the world with my 6" build. I personally haven't made a decision yet, the biggest distractor is propane...

One of the biggest kicks for me is haveing hot water when your setting up ...
What did you ever come up with on your hose omni

Well it's still up in the air...I was told I can buy 20' here for $150ish but they are out so I'm kind of in a holding pattern right now.

I use a triton camp shower heater..
Not sure of the gpm or anything like that...
Works great easy to setup and use ..no burns... Just a steady temp ,,you can adjust the flow and temp...
Also there's a screen on the inlet side . You will need to remove that with a drill or something ..
You will need to use a blaster nozzle attachment like in my pic or it won't have enough pressure to activate ..
Hmmmm what els cost 120 on amazon hmmmm use 2d batteries hmmmmmm any other questions?

I welded a 3/4 pipe at the same angle as a pickup for the heater...
I really like your setup. I was looking at the L5 heater I think Camp Chef, or Tritton has them. I was told they turn off and you have to restart all the time, that would be a pain. Also wind sensitive. Wind wont be a prob for me, but would hate to get out and restart every 10 min. I'm glad I found your pics, I was going to try to run out of GH port on side of P180 but will go ahead and pick up blaster attachment for more pressure. I would have been real bummed out getting all the way up there and have it not work due to gh port. So did you have to add that port to blaster att.? We have a 6 month season here and runs till end of Nov. so water is cold. Thanks my best to you and yours. S
