Beach High Banker, Sweep Jig, Whippet Dry Washer, Lobo ST, 1/2 width 2 tray Gold Cube, numerous pans, rocker box, and home made fluid bed and stream sluices.
I heard that beach mining is as much as outlawed now at Benson Beach. I've looked through the wdfw pamphlet and must have overlooked the rules that seemingly are now in effect to stop beach high banking. Just what are the rules now?
Another thing the WDFW did years back was when a lot of rain and landslides clogged the rivers and streams was to contact the dredgers to bail them out by dredging the "soup" off the fish beds to keep the fish from NOT being able to surface from their beds and end up dying . Many dredgers came to their rescue and cleared the surface so the fish could live. Some dredgers got publicly accredited and awarded for this and then that's when the the restrictions rolled in. So much for the WDFW creditability !!!!
Also dredgers on certain streams were asked not to fill in thier holes because they created deep water pools witch helped the fish keep cool in very hot weather.
