Yesterday,me and some great friends went hunting. We found several wheaties and some silver but this find here has me stumped.I found a few wheaties in the same spot. This wheatie was in the same hole as this "rusty" penny. Now I do have some wartime zinc pennies that are rusty but could this be one?All the old coins we found was from the 40's.In this pict.I posted both the coins that were found in the same hole. The rusty one you can see the outline of Lincoln.Maybe you guys can shed some light on this. Thanks & GOD bless!
P.S. The zinc pennies from 1943 were zinc coated steel.

YES.
Due to the Amount of steel & Zinc in them,
They are Next to impossable to find.

I'v found 2 in 40 years & both were in holes with Copper Wheats.
