I headed to a new site (a large clearing) and as I was parking I noticed that one of my fellow detecting friends was leaving. So I asked him if he had found anything? He said that he thought that he and his buddy had found Rev War and showed me a few buttons. Yes, they had found Rev War! Part of a British 16th button and a Pewter RP (at least that is what it looked like). Then I asked him why he was leaving so early??? He replied that he had to go check on another permission that he originally was going to before he decided to stop here and check this spot. He had to leave to meet with the owner of that permission. He ended up coming back later that afternoon. But I was excited to say the least and ended up digging a bunch of flat buttons, nice spectacle buckle, a KGII and a rare War of 1812 US Infantry Button. The YouTube video link of the hunt is below as well.

Congrats on all the buttons, and the great looking buckle.
Have you a photo of all the finds together (group shot)?
Too bad hte one pewter was gone as bad as it was, they don't hold up well it seems in certain soils.

Nice Finds!

Nice bunch of finds congrats.
That's not a Spec. Buckle as it has to be a mirror image shape which yours isn't. I think from the top of my head its a circa 1690-1720 spur buckle.

Great finds!! Congrats!!
