Quick afternoon hunt and had a great haul. 7 buttons, including one I think is British military from around war of 1812, any insight is appreciated. A small buckle, musket ball and strangely a token from the Bibb Transit Company in Macon Georgia, no where near the site and was probably from early 1900's.

Congrats on the nice relics! :occasion14:

It sure looks like the British officer's GR button. I have never seen this HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE design but I know there were many different types of these buttons.

Great find! :icon_thumleft:

That oval button has my attention. What’s up with that one? Great hunt!

McClellanville...ah..I know it well. Nice place. Dogged deer many a day, way back when.

The oval one is a upholstery tack. I hadnt seen one like this before either.

You guys in S.C. are finding some very nice old relics! Congrats!

That's a nice military button. If I wasn't always finding early coins, I would wish that I could find buttons like that.

Lost Signal don't be jealous of all my early military buttons.

I was so hungry on our fishing trip, today, I told awdw that I would trade him my next military button for a piece of his fried chicken. Hopefully, it won't be a good one.

Great bunch of button saves, nice military button, really like that small buckle, congrats on all the saves
