A casket flag is long and narrow and does not have the heavy iron eyes. What does the stamped writing say? Can we get a picture of the eyes? Tony

Just a little info on when the 48 star flag flew, It was flown from 4 July 1912 until 3 July 1949.

The 49th star was added when Alaska became a state in 1959...the 48 stars & stripes flew to for 47 years...
