Was in the Park in Belmont that I found the gold and onyx ring, no ring today and not much else. 3.76 in clad and 2 broken coat hooks that look fairly modern (use to run hardware department at the Home Depot Waltham, have that Stanley look). Then on the other side of the Park came up with an old one totally different design.

That permission wasn't good did the back yard and found no evidence of a chicken coop. 14 cents in clad and memorials 2 light fixtures, a plumbing fixture, blobs of lead, and a match box car. Heading to NJ to see my brother tomorrow maybe do some searching around there.

Happy Hunting All !!!

My Mom's backyard was filled with 12" of fill, probably from the well paved driveway, or the solid concrete 2 car garage. All the yards touching this one are 12" lower. I spent the weekend in New Jersey, detecting is different there. I was not very successful there. Think the good stuff has sunk in the MT. Laurel area. Good exercise though.

Then I forgot my keys there, my brother was sending them UPS ground, I changed that this afternoon to next day air. Still had fun, on the trip.

Dumped 131.33 in coin today at the bank minus the Coin Roll hunting 122.00 that leaves 9.33 in clad ground finds. 5.40 from a Watertown Park 7/9 So Jersey total was 3.93 Maybe should have switched coils and put the larger one on. My Keys arrived yesterday and I did the Watertown Park. Today the Ex had me running around all over, along with wrecking my back Monday picking up my sisters dog. No time to dirt fish will get back into the swing of things tomorrow.

Happy Hunting All !!!

interesting finds. things like this would always make me keep hunting. enjoy.

Hi Gracie !
I would have gone out today but the Ex had me running around and I had a meeting tonight. So I relaxed and did some CRH got a dateless Buff and a 1943P War and have 50.00 more in CR nickels to check tomorrow. So what are you finding ?

Did $200 in nickels, found one War (43), thirty-four other pre-1960 (the oldest were two 1939), and 9 'S's (the books say they are not really worth anything, they are all 1968,69 or 70), one Canadian, one Bahamas, and a 1963 Cuban coin. Searched $1000 in dimes and found one 1964. Searched $1000 in quarters and found one 1953, and one 1991 S Proof. Im going through $50 in pennies now, so far nothing exciting. So all-in-all, silver in each batch, but not much. I'll take it and hope for better results next bag of coins...which will be later this week. Happy Hunting, and no, i havent gotten out with my MD. I've been busy with other things.

That's a lot of searching. Small wins add up.
Happy Hunting Gracie !

Yesterday was in Somerville and Arlington. Hot and Steamy today too. Clad 8.80 and a Sterling 1830 Miracle Madonna medal has a hallmark diamond with infinity sign inside

Depends I save into a couple of folders, and stockpile others, I have sold some halves, war nickels, and buffs either melt value or whats best. I have just about every jefferson '38 thru '61 missing 1938d, 1939d,1943D in one folder 5-6 holes in another, and rolls separated by date, and mint '38 thru '61. Made up a couple of starter Jefferson collections for my nieces kids.

I'm sitting on about 200. in nickels think of them as savings for a rainy day. How's the hunt going Beep?

The hunt is going GREAT. ...

Went to an old home I had been to before - this past weekend, pulled my first complete skeleton key, first fatty Indian (1863) first War nickel (1945) and a few other keepers. It was a great hunt
