The other day I found a set of keys on the ground on it was a member ID number to The Vanderbilt Club, I called the club and left my contact number so we could arrange giving them back. Got a call from a guy in Sharon MA who told me his Special Needs son had lost them we met in Newton and I gave them back. The guy pressed ten bucks on me, I tried to give it back, but he wasn't having that. So I've done my good deed for the month, now I can get back to my usual self.

Went out to 2 parks today, one was a bust, but I met a guy there from Belmont with a 147 year old house and I maybe detecting there soon. The other gave up 7.42 in clad and a 1925P wheat. A hotwheels T-Bird, a key fob from a Rochester NY hotel with Fireproof rooms The Powers Hotel Room 345, a nice sheet of copper, a lump of lead, and a fist full of trash.

Went out this morning hit a tot lot nothing there then it turned cold with drizzle so I went home. Clad .72

Road trip after dumping 100.15 in change today Found a 1951D Washington and Canadians in the reject chute So that's a score. So I traveled out Rt 20 to Marlboro with no destination in mind figured Schools and parks would do. First stop park got some change and what I hopped was a diamond earring, it wasn't. Couple of more stops and I wasn't feeling it. So I came home to CRH a box of Nickels got a 1943P War nickel there. Added 2.02 to Mondays dump here's a pick of today's finds.

Was in Belmont today Jr high and the Underwood park, good weather still cool. the tot lot gave up a telescope pin, a broken ring plated, and a butterfly charm also plated. Underwood park gave up a gold washed cuff-link. Both parks gave up clad, only kept about 2/3 as I acquired a following of young diggers. Clad count 7.07

Weston College land Weston MA tick city ! Tried to walk thru and found 3 ticks 5 minutes in. Left on the way out was swinging near the path and got some pennies, not much else, other than square nails. Went downtown and hit the tot lot more pennies and 2 dimes, and a nickel, thought it was a bust got home one of the pennies was 1903 Indian. 34 cents clad

In Belmont today a park and elementary school found the Golden Shoe feel like Cinderfella ! Clad count 7.05 plus 3 Wheats, button, flower slide ?, and a tiny spoon.

Swelling has deflated like Brady's balls so I went out today for a quick hunt. The park in Watertown just around the play area took out clad and trash. 13.45 in clad.

Hit a baseball field in Waltham this morning got 2 Silver rings ! 4 wheats and some clad will update later as I picked up a box of Halves and was blown away with the Silver in it. 24 includes 15x1964,6x1967,2x1968,1969, and a gold plated counterstamped 1980.

Hit a tot lot in Needham not much just a bunch of Clad dimes, went over to Newton and the old Norumbega Park more clad and 3 wheats a dateless, 1941P, 1952D. Clad count 3.49 and a buckle !

Went back to the waltham park i found the rings at clad kind of day plus a 1992 50 Ukrainian something or other worth about 5-7 cents clad count 3.18 .
