Two quick hunts after work landed me a couple silver"s. One considerably larger than the other. This is my third Walker and my forth half dollar since I started detecting. Hope you enjoy the pics. Good Hunting!

That's funny, I just posted this week a similar find, the WL and a merc in the same hole! (with a Danish coin too tho) very nice! Details in the Merc are pretty good.

Wow, nice. What kind of places do you hunt. Not where. But what?

Where I live they tore a bunch of old houses down but left the existing sidewalks. Concrete steps leading to nowhere and such. I concentrate around those high traffic areas. Alot of times the dirt has been replaced with fill dirt but the dirt near the sidewalk or road is original and sometimes with the top scooped off revealing targets deeper down. Sometimes the dirt is saturated with metal so I'll discriminate all but silver if its really bad. Thats how I got these two coins. Also I hunt alot of fields where old houses have been.

I got a little excited one time the detector read "half dollar" so I'm expecting BIG silver....no, 2 quarters in the same hole! Who knew the detector could add!
