Today I went to a ghost town with my friend Kevin. It's a very tough place, but in the end we found some things.

This thing, I don't know what it is, but I can distinguish something.

Someone has been out there since 1984 obviously but even that is a 40 year old penny. What are those little round things that look like gears? From a watch? EDIT: Maybe goes with that backplate?

Keep asking questions. We're all still trying to learn, every day....it's just that some have been learning longer than others..

Cool finds Conito. I love all those little ghost towns in Nevada, been to a number of them over the years (not detecting), and wish I could go back and spend some time poking around 'em.
