Visitor: sign of fall

This big guy showed up yesterday and today on the shed door. I usually see them in September, so it’s on schedule. About 5” long.
I still haven’t seen any praying mantis activity. Should be soon.

Absolutely. I reckon I must walk past dozens each day here and am lucky to spot one once a month.
