Vintage White's Coinmaster 5000/D - Metal Detector

Hi. I am a casual, very unskilled "treasure hunter" and use an inexpensive, one knob type of detector which suits my needs and skill level. I recently picked up a very nice looking, older White's Coinmaster 5000/D - Metal Detector that I thought I might use but quickly discovered that there are too many knobs and too much to learn for my level of interest. I'd appreciate any thoughts on what it might be worth and more importantly where the best place to sell it might be. I see metal detectors on eBay, but I wonder if there might be a better place that true hobbyists go to look to buy things like this. Thanks.

Also, I do sell things on eBay, but I NEVER sell any tech or electronics on there. For some reason those categories are ripe with scam and ripoff buyers. You end up losing your item and your money.

Hi, for one I am seeing on your 2nd posted photo a price of $269.95 it would be in US money as White's is US made, White's hold their worth for a long time, for example I have a White's GMT, new it was $799.99 CAD, though you say you don't try selling electronics on Ebay, I do, and it hasn't been too bad for me, I just checked and someone is selling my model for $317 on Ebay, so yours and it's vintage it appears would be worth around half of what it was or $135 US.
