Went out to the woods to poke around in the bottle dump in a specific spot for a few hours, and right as I walked up I seen an old bottle stopper sitting on the surface just waiting to be scooped up. Well I spent 3 to 3.5hrs in the heat battling the mosquitoes and that was all I could take, I had to spray myself every 10-15min with deep woods off just to get a break from those monsters. I knew a few tokens were found the last time we messed around at that spot but I wasn’t really expecting that I would find 3 today, especially in a 4’x4’ area. We are planning to make a screed so we can sift the dirt but just haven’t got around to doing it yet (maybe I’ll make one this weekend and go back and see what we missed). This is what the 3 tokens I found say on them:

*G. & E. Co. Urbana & Champaign – U. & C. RY / U. & C. RY. - Good for one full fare

*Not Redeemable / Not Redeemable

*Advertising Keeney’s Refresh-Mints / Good For 5¢ In Trade

Nuthin better than going out hunting for one thing and coming home happy as can be with something else!!! I found a few more items; they are in the vid if you’re interested.

Thanks guys! :icon_pirat:

Some nice tokens TF.
Thanks for the video. I think the mosquitos are bigger up your way compared to the ones here in NC. These are silent little
b-st-rds compared to your area where you feel them land on you. Come on fall!!! :tongue3:
Congrats,

I found a Kenneys token just like yours a while back...Vendor number was 35154, found 21 tokens in a very small area, several different, but many were similiar, all the same size.Tokens rock ! :headbang:

I watched this one on YouTube the other day after discovering your vids there... Really enjoy watching you and lookin4seated hunting... Would love to hook up with y'all sometime and hunt - although it might be difficult, seeing as I'm all the way down in Texas!

Gotta admit, I'm soooo jealous watching you's guys diggin all that pretty silver - parks here in Austin are just full of junk and nothing old...

Keep diggin'!

great find on the trolley token, i found one identical to it, minus the company name of course, 12" deep, i was about to give up! wish i could have reached down and just picked mine up though :tongue3:

Those bugs are killer out there, I use some kind of small pump spray, w/98% deet, but once you start sweating the stuff is useless. cool finds
