Finally was able to get out to an outing at the Loud Mine this week.
GREAT outing, nice folks, great weather.
I was pretty impressed with the amount of "teaching and learning" that went on.
Setting up equipment wrong and making people figure it out, lots of classes.
BUNCH of people new to prospecting which was nice to see.
I did a couple finish panning classes, did a local history talk one morning, and helped some at the highbankers.
I was impressed with the amount of organization and planning that went into it.
I have to applaud their effort to change the outings and make them more informative.
Kevin Hoagland, from Gold Trails TV helped run it and he did a few cleanup classes using our
new Multi Sluice. I figured I'd just record him talking for a change, not me.
He spent a BUNCH of time with them in NC last week and learned a lot.
Opening of the video is worth watching if nothing else.
Tried to catch some decent footage of the outing itself.
