I've moved dumps since other one that's been very good is done. The new dump dates between 1889ish and 190x thus far. Fortunately it's not hard to date because a certain company only used an address 1889 to 1895 on their bottles. Their bottle is the oldest bottle thus far. Snuff jar was Patented January 1900 NOW UPLOADED BUT STILL DIRTY. There's some tool top crown tops in here and hutches. No automatic bottle machine made pieces at all. Too many bottles to post, but this is the best stuff thus far plus a few bottles and pipe parts. Yup that's a complete seltzer water bottle in back ground but top is knocked off and inside top valve which I also found.

*H&R double action revolver 1880s,1890s??
*bullet that was next to it
* ceramic bank with tiny hole in base someone broke to get coins out. Bank was then discarded. Was really hoping it was full of indian heads and barbers oh well.

Awesome site. That bank is beautiful!
I saw back and assumed it was an odd snuff jar. But then I saw the coin slot and it made sense. Can't really date it precisely since it only says patent applied for. I guess I can always look through patent searches for ceramic banks and hope I get lucky??

Looks like you're on a super fun site, congrats!
Thank you. It's nice It's not 2 feet deep and I don't need a respirator with Hydrogen Sulfide filters. Always appreciate your comments.

Awesome looking bank.
Well dug.

Now can you explain the safety gear part.

I've dug a lot of bottles and not worn anything except gloves.

The first section is in what I think is an old irrigation canal and the bottom stays wet often. There were a lot of Hydrogen Sulfide pockets in it. Smells like rotten eggs, gas is heavier than air. Dump is trenched in especially when you start going down a few feet the gas has nowhere to go but give you headaches and nausea. Happens on wet more enclosed dumps sometimes especially the deep outhouse pits tom askgem digs on YouTube.

I have that along my shoreline dump.
Pretty funky black earth muck, 1.5 ft thick.

Nice finds. My boys and I have been digging bottles, marbles and all kinds of stuff at our family farm built in 1873 in Batson TX. Unfortunately my grandpa had used a lot for target practice.
