way to go coop! nice one!

As late as 2010, most auction catalogs had it as Rarity 5, but now safely say R4+ for a comprimise :) The R6 rating must have been another variety as IP suggested.
Yup Ip was right, I looked at the wrong one. Im still happy with a nice example of a Very scarce variety. Thank for the info Don.

I've had one in my collection for more than 20 years. It's the coin from the Hall collection with his white ink attribution on edge. Hall published the original reference on CT's in 1892 and it was updated by Miller in 1920. I have it listed as an R-4 for more than 25 years. Here's the one I own.

:o awesome coop , consider that one a Christmas gift from up above :hello:

Happy Holidays To All

whatever the rarity rating, it's an awesome find in my book. things like that simply don't exist where I live. a lot of you guys live in areas that are rich in history and a lot of your 'common' finds are the kind of stuff I can only dream about. when some of you post something like 'just another copper', I can't help but think to myself 'yea buddy, try living here where a wheat penny or indian head makes for a great day'.

Congrats on that recovery, regardless of rarity. Been a while since I found a decent Connectcut.

Congrats, coop. I say it's just plain ole rare because you just don't see them posted here, lol. Let no one take anything away from that coin! It's a great one.:3coins:

Killer coin I really like that!................HH

Congrats awesome coin!
