very curious about the new V5 version

yeah, I was hoping for something even better for the existing coils. something that would really step up their game and make them more versatile and competitive. you know that they are busy, always, the competition by nature forces it on them and the others. it is a keep up and or do better world or get left behind.

Yes, like maybe automatically checking both high and low frequencies in the background and comparing the responses to help ID iron bottlecaps. Or would that be too much like Minelab's Multi-Q?

I am going to wait for any upgrade or any new anything right now. I put the machine down for the summer and have been looking for surface find Indian artifacts. I get the feeling the new coil won't do much for me, and really don't want to do another download at this time, but that's just me.
