Very cool homemade display case

My son has been getting into woodworking using laser tools and cutters.

He made this fantastic maple and walnut display case for some of my finds.

The writing and decorations are inland with walnut.

The slabs are held to the display case by magnets and can be moved or switched out as desired.

I am very proud of his work and just wanted to show it off.

Those are outstanding example of art and craftsmanship. Magnets are very clever and adjustable. How did your son add the text? Almost looks like wood burning. Very nice!

thanks guys.....the text is also inlaid. he has improved his skill level a bit since the one he made for me.
