I see your point Coilygirl.Just have to remember that one persons constitutional rights cannot over shadow anothers.Those who feel uncomfortable about it have to get over it and or get use to it.Exercise those freedoms or sooner or later you wont have them.

I get you Red,really I do. Even now being a gun owner and being more educated about them,people's reactions to guns or more so police reactions to citizens' reactions is causing drama that does not need to be there.But then again, there are the few that make the rest of us who do carry look a little crazy by being such vigilantes even though they are doing nothing wrong within their limits of the law.Police are so cautious now Im sure about anything having to do with ordinary citizens packing heat that they themselves are the ones causing all the mayhem.If someone were waving a gun in a threatening way that would be one thing.

Is there a difference in what type of weapon he is carrying? What if he carried a shotgun? A 30-06? A handgun? Maybe, if more people open-carried, there would be less fear in seeing someone with a gun. A topless woman in an African village doesn't get much attention.
