It's been a slow start this year with the weather but I have managed to frequent a local park for short periods after work. The park was once an 1850's homestead. No silver coins yet so maybe this park has been pounded long before I came along. Not a lot of high tones. I have been experimenting with the 540 in Jewelry mode which I normally would use on a beach but guess what I'm finding of all things; Jewelry!
The Claddagh ring rang in like a dime with 26-27 VDI. It is 925 silver with some kind of stones. All the rest of these bits rang in with VDI in the 11 to 19 range. The black pendant may be black onyx. The gold oval is a stick pin with the pin missing and made of Goldstone (not gold). The flying saucer piece appears to be some kind of brooch with rhinestones (many missing). I have read that the house that once stood in the park had a ballroom on the second floor. I imagine some of this stuff could be from the roaring 20's.
